Our Commitment

This work was designed by and for the disability community. Shay Edmonds, Founder of Reinvention Works™, built this program as a person with acquired disability — Anti-MOG Antibody Disease causing relapsing optic neuritis and progressive vision loss. Accessibility is not compliance language here. It is lived practice.

We are committed to ensuring that ReinventionWorksOnline.com, all program materials, and all live delivery formats are accessible to people with diverse abilities, assistive technologies, sensory needs, cognitive styles, and energy variability. This statement covers our website, the 3-Day Reinvention Reset™, the Graduate Community — The Unfinished Collective™, and all associated downloadable and digital materials.

This statement reflects our current state and our ongoing commitment to improvement. If you encounter any barrier, we want to know. Accessibility feedback is acted on — not filed.

Accessibility Standards We Follow

We meet or strive to exceed WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines standard, published October 5, 2023 by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. WCAG 2.2 supersedes WCAG 2.1 and includes updated success criteria for cognitive accessibility, focus visibility, and authentication.

Perceivable — information is available to all senses: visual, auditory, and tactile
Operable — all interface elements are usable by everyone, including keyboard-only users
Understandable — information and interface operation are clear and predictable
Robust — content works reliably across diverse technologies and assistive tools

2.5.7 Dragging Movements — no drag-only interactions on our site or program platforms
2.5.8 Target Size — interactive targets meet or exceed minimum sizing expectations

3.3.7 Redundant Entry — information is not requested again unless essential
3.3.8 Accessible Authentication — no cognitive function tests are required for authentication

Website Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation — full site functionality accessible via keyboard alone, with logical tab order and visible focus indicators
Screen Reader Support — semantic structure, descriptive alt text, aria-labels on icon-only controls, and aria-live regions where needed
Visual Accessibility — contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.2 AA minimums and text scales to 200% without loss of function
Cognitive Accessibility — plain language, consistent navigation, structured hierarchy, and no unexpected context changes
Motor Accessibility — generous spacing, no time-sensitive interactions, and no drag-only functions
Motion & Sensory Sensitivity — no autoplay audio or video, reduced-motion support, and no flashing content above safety thresholds
Form Accessibility — visible labels, plain-language errors, programmatic required-field labels, and no CAPTCHA barriers
Energy & Pacing — no session timeouts on intake or registration forms where tools allow, and a design centered on energy-variable users

Live Program Accessibility — 3-Day Reinvention Reset™

The 3-Day Reinvention Reset™ is delivered live via Zoom. The program is designed from the ground up to accommodate energy variability, sensory needs, cognitive diversity, and a wide range of assistive technology setups. Camera participation is always optional — full participation is possible without video.

Live automatic captions enabled by default for every session
CART live professional captioning available on request at no additional cost
ASL interpretation available on request with 72 hours' notice where possible
Dial-in phone number provided as an alternative to computer audio
Chat monitored throughout every session for accessibility requests
Session recordings with downloadable transcripts provided to consented participants within 24 hours
High-contrast screen sharing mode used for all presented materials
Camera participation is optional

Session Structure — Designed for Energy Variability

Sessions include a midpoint break announced at the start
Participants may step away and return during breaks without notification
Materials are distributed before sessions begin for self-paced review
Workbook exercises may be completed digitally, by hand, verbally, or by audio recording
Scheduling is designed to support consistency and predictability

Materials Accessibility

Program PDFs are screen reader compatible with tagged headings, lists, and navigation structure
Alt text is provided for images and graphics in program materials
Large print versions of workbook materials available on request
Audio versions of written materials available on request
Materials are distributed digitally before program start
High contrast color schemes used in program documents

Graduate Community — The Unfinished Collective™

Bi-weekly live Zoom sessions with captions, CART by request, dial-in, and camera-optional participation
Session recordings with transcripts distributed within 24 hours
Sliding scale pricing for DVR clients and fixed-income participants where available
Consistent bi-weekly schedule supports predictability for participants who benefit from routine

Enrollment and Intake Pathway

Intake form is keyboard navigable, with visible labels, no CAPTCHA, and no time limits
Waitlist system protects participant place when cohort timing changes
DVR purchase orders accepted for eligible clients where applicable
Sliding scale and payment plans available where applicable

Accommodation requests: All accessibility accommodation requests are honored. There is no deadline for requests, though we ask for 72 hours’ notice where possible for ASL interpretation and CART services. Contact shay@reinventionworksonline.com to request an accommodation.

This program is not therapy, counseling, or clinical intervention. It is a peer-informed educational program for medically stable adults. A documented crisis escalation protocol is in place for all live sessions.

Known Limitations & Active Improvements

We are committed to transparency. The following are known areas we are actively improving:

Third-party tools including Stripe and Google Forms have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. We monitor and report issues to vendors and provide accessible alternatives on request.
Automatic captions in Zoom may not achieve 100% accuracy for all accents, technical vocabulary, or fast speech. CART is available on request at no additional cost.
Some older PDF materials may not be fully tagged for screen reader navigation. We are updating these on a rolling basis and can provide accessible versions on request.

Community Testing

Accessibility testing at Reinvention Works™ is conducted by community members — people with lived disability experience, not external auditors alone. This reflects the BY us FOR us positioning of this program.

Testing includes screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, high contrast and reduced motion modes, and cognitive accessibility review
Participant feedback from each cohort is reviewed for accessibility barriers as a standard post-program practice
Accessibility issues identified by community members are prioritized in our improvement roadmap
